Education serves as the main means of advancing knowledge through academic study, training, and
travel. Through staying close to the largest mangrove forest in the world, one can learn about the
Sundarbans coastal ecosystem, biodiversity, risks, and challenges as well as the neighboring people's
culture, the effects of climate change, the vulnerability of communities to disaster, locally led
adaptation, and other topics. Therefore, we have been running our Communication, Education,
Participation, and Awareness-raising (CEPA) Program on a regular basis since 2013. Using our created
educational games, booklets, posters, etc., we are motivating, educating, and developing the leadership
of students and citizens in both urban and rural areas by running school programs, awareness-raising
programs, and nature education programs as well as on-site training programs, study tours, field trips,
and other activities. Hence, people will gather knowledge about nature by staying close to it, and
understanding its current state and activities will provide new possibilities in the future.
